WELCOME LOVELY PEOPLE!

I'm so glad you're here! My name is Graysie Ivester. I’m a Seattle-based artist, photographer, videographer, dream weaver and creative director with a background in marketing, digital communications and culinary event development and storytelling.

Though born, raised, and based in the charming Pacific Northwest, I absolutely adore traveling and often find myself creating across the world. At the heart of my camera work is a sincere joie de vivre and an appreciation for life, light, romance, human connection, music and dreams. Captured with documentary intention, cinematic flair, and forever essence of la vie en rose.

I was raised in a family where creativity was a way of life. As the daughter and granddaughter of professional musicians, I grew up attuned to rhythm, emotion, and—well—love. Paired with my grandfather’s affinity for film photography, this upbringing shaped how I see the world: full of expression, melody, and meaning.

Where it started

The first time I held a camera, I was four years old.

I remember it like yesterday, my grandma gave it to me to take pitctures at the Butterfly Museum in Cozumel. I spent the day chasing wings through my lens, later realizing many of the pictures were actually of moths. It gives me a giggle now, but it’s also the perfect metaphor for what I do. That instinct — to look closely and follow the light — has shaped how I approach photography ever since. It taught me something early on: the shot doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it’s quieter, subtler and waiting to be noticed.

From that first spark, I understood photography as a way to observe closely, honor what’s present, and preserve moments as they’re felt — not staged or manufactured, but truly, madly and deeply real.

How it's going

As I got older, friends and communities began trusting me with their most meaningful milestones, and I fell in love with documenting life — the joyful, perfectly imperfect stories that make life feel like a movie. Along the way, I furthered my professional growth in marketing strategy, content creation, event planning, and digital campaign management, working with large organizations (such as, Microsoft and Amazon) and diverse brands to craft stories that engage audiences and inspire connection. From managing multi-channel campaigns to creating narrative-driven experiences for thousands, I learned how to tell compelling stories and create emotional resonance—skills that now inform every frame I photograph and every story I film.

To me, photography is more than taking pictures, and videography is far more than pressing record. It’s about helping people see the romance in their own lives and empowering them to celebrate it fully.

My shooting philosophy

I’m here to curate an experience that feels honest, effortless and deeply lived-in. Where you can momentarily forget that anything is being documented at all.

The most meaningful imagery happens in the in-between: when time is allowed to unfold naturally, without performance or pressure, and you’re simply immersed in the moment, the celebration,

the people you love. My approach is rooted in capturing your story with the intimacy of a cherished home video or a photograph taken by someone who knows you deeply — only elevated through an artistic, cinematic lens.

From our first conversation to the final gallery or film delivery, my intention is to honor your vision and preserve moments in a way that feels sincere, timeless and unmistakably true. My role is both simple and intentional: to elevate what is already precious, documenting it with clarity, artistry and emotion.

More than anything, I’m here as your advocate, collaborator and supporter — devoted to bringing your love, your dreams, your vision to life with thoughtfulness and heart.

Because life is fleeting.

So let’s slow down.

And savor it.
